MINUTES OF A REGULAR
MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF
COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL
COUNTY, KENTUCKY, ON MONDAY,
MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2005.
The Regular Meeting was called to order by Mayor Mary H. Brown at 8:00 P.M. on
Monday, December 5, 2005, at the City Building Council Chambers. She
asked for the Clerk to call the Roll and then led the group in the Pledge of
Allegiance to the flag. The following Councilmembers
were recorded as present: Barbara Runge, Jim Doepker, Karen Lied, Eric Haas, Roger Peterman, Tom Lampe. Also attending were:
Clerk Dottie Ivie, City Administrative Officer Jeff Earlywine, City Treasurer Fred Ewald,
City Attorney Jann Seidenfaden,
Police Chief Mike Daly and Fire
Chief Mark Bailey.
Minutes from the previous Regular Meeting on November 21, 2005, were presented
to Council in their Friday evening packets and upon motion (Lied) and second (Doepker), were approved.
Mr. Earlywine then presented information about the
Highland Hills Park Access Study, with no Council action required. It was
suggested that this be placed on the Agenda of one of the Council meetings in
January.
Mayor Brown expressed appreciation for those City employees who contributed so
much to the success of the Holiday Walk which was last evening (December 4,
from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M.). She said that the businesses were beautifully
decorated and inviting, and although the weather was cold, it was “a good
evening to be out.”
The Finance Committee presented their report on Vouchers for the period and
upon motion (Doepker), second (Peterman) and unanimous
Aye Roll Call vote, it was agreed that the group would concur in the
recommendation.
Municipal Order MO-22-2005, Appointing Pat Hagerty to
the Design Review Board, was adopted upon motion (Lampe),
second (Peterman) and unanimous Aye voice vote. Municipal Order
MO-23-2005, Declaring City Property as Surplus, was adopted upon motion
(Lampe), second (Peterman), and unanimous Aye voice vote.
Mayor Brown reminded members of the Public Works Committee that at 8:00 A.M. on
Saturday, December 10, there will be a Public Street Inspection of the
resurfacing work completed on several streets recently There being
no further business to come before Council, the meeting was adjourned.
