A MUNICIPAL ORDER DECLARING CITY-OWNED PERSONAL PROPERTY (VEHICLES) AS SURPLUS;” AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER TO SOLICIT PUBLIC BIDS FOR THEIR SALE.

SECTION I

Whereas, the Board of Council of the City of Fort Thomas, Campbell County, Kentucky, in accordance with the provisions of KRS 82.083 and KRS 45A.365, hereby makes the following findings:

1. The Board of Council has determined that it is in the public interest for the City to declare certain personal property (vehicles) as surplus;

2. The Board of Council, upon recommendation of the city staff, has determined that the method of disposing of this personal property (vehicles) shall be the solicitation of sealed bids, pursuant to KRS 82.083(3)(e) and KRS 45A.365 (3) and (4).

SECTION II

The Board of Council hereby declares the following as “surplus property” and hereby authorizes and directs the City Administrative Officer to proceed with their sale via the solicitation of sealed bids.
