ORDINANCE O-01-2008

 

AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HOLDING ALL REGULAR MEETINGS AND ALL STANDING COMMITTEE MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY.

 

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY, AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I

 

            That the regular meetings of the Board of Council of the City of Fort Thomas, Campbell County, Kentucky, shall be held at the city building in the council chamber, 130 North Fort Thomas Avenue, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, on the first and third Monday of each month at 8:00 P.M. (EST).

 

            That when the day for holding the regular meeting as provided herein is a holiday, or a day observed as a holiday by the Commonwealth of Kentucky or by the United States of America, then and in that event, the said regular meeting shall be held on the next following day at the same place and at the same time.

 

SECTION II

 

            That the standing committee meetings of the Board of Council of the City of Fort Thomas, Campbell County, Kentucky, shall be held at the city building in the Centennial Room, on the first and third Monday as necessary, at 7:15 P.M. (EST), and that any and all other council committees meet as necessary with each conducted and advertised according to the Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS), Chapter 61, special meeting notice requirements.

 

            That when the day for holding a standing committee meeting as provided herein is a holiday, or a day observed as a holiday by the Commonwealth of Kentucky or by the United States of America, then and in that event, said meeting shall be held on the next following day at the same place and at the same time.

 

SECITION III

 

            All ordinances, resolutions, or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.  This ordinance shall become effective upon passage, approval and publication as required by law.
