ORDINANCE NO. O-02-2008

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY, AMENDING SECTION 51.14(B) OF THE FORT THOMAS CODE OF ORDINANCES REGULATING THE TIMES FOR THE PLACEMENT AND REMOVAL OF TRASH CONTAINERS IN THE PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAYS.

 

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY:

SECTION I

 

            Section 51.14 of the Fort Thomas Code of Ordinances is amended as follows:

 

            Section 51.14 COLLECTION FREQUENCY AND TIMES

 

            (B) All refuse to be collected by the contractor shall be placed at the curb or edge of roadway in accordance with the provisions contained herein and not prior to 6:00 5:00 p.m. on the day immediately preceding before the day designated for collection.   The only exception to this rule is bulky items as authorized by the Director of General Services.  Empty containers are to be removed from the curb or edge of roadway on the collection day or within 24 hours after collection.

 

SECTION II

 

All ordinances, resolutions or parts thereof, in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.

 

SECTION III

 

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law.
