ORDINANCE NO. O-16-2009

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF SERVICE CHARGES FOR THE COLLECTION AND REMOVAL OF SOLID WASTE AND CURBSIDE RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING FOR THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT

THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY:

SECTION I

The following charges for the collection and removal of solid waste and curbside residential recycling shall be levied against property owners as hereby designated:

2009 - 2010 TAX YEARS

DESCRIPTION AMOUNT / ANNUALLY

Residential Curbside $109/ annually

Commercial Curbside 109/ annually

2 cubic yard container 625/ annually

3 cubic yard container 854/ annually

4 cubic yard container 1098/ annually

6 cubic yard container 1421/ annually

8 cubic yard container 1771/ annually

SECTION II

If any part of this Ordinance is held invalid, such part shall be deemed severable and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION III

All ordinances, resolutions or part thereof, in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance, are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.

SECTION IV

This Ordinance shall apply to the tax years 2009 - 2010 and shall be effective when read, passed, and advertised according to law.
