ORDINANCE NO. O-22-2009

 

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 34.01 OF THE “CITY OF FORT THOMAS CODE OF ORDINANCES” RELATING TO THE DECLARATION OF LEGAL HOLIDAYS TO BE OBSERVED BY THE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY.  

 

            WHEREAS, City of Fort Thomas Ordinance O-28-2008 amends the “City of Fort Thomas Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual” relating to the declaration of holidays to be observed by officers and employees of the city; and

 

            WHEREAS, the “City of Fort Thomas Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual” is adopted by reference in Section 38.02 of the “City of Fort Thomas Code of Ordinances”; and

 

            WHEREAS, the language contained in Section 34.01 of the “City of Fort Thomas Code of Ordinances” conflicts with Ordinance O-28-2008 adopted by city council necessitating the repeal of Section 34.01 of the “City of Fort Thomas Code of Ordinances.”

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THAT:

 

SECTION I

 

            § 34.01 of the “City of Fort Thomas Code of Ordinances” relating to the declaration of legal holidays to be observed by the officers and employees of the city is hereby repealed.

 

SECTION II

 

            This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law.
