ORDINANCE NO. O-26-2008

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AMENDING COMPENSATION FOR THE POSITION OF “PARKS AND GREENSPACE LABORER I” AND APPOINTING KYLE BECKER TO FILL A VACANCY IN SAME, IN CONFORMANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. O-21-81, AND PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF PAYING SUCH COMPENSATION.

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Kyle Becker to the position of “ Parks and Greenspace Laborer I” by Executive Orderand the City of Fort Thomas, with approval of the Board of Council when applicable, has previously appointed all non-elected City Officers and Administrative Employees to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and the Board of Council; and

WHEREAS, the duties of said Officers and Administrative positions have been set forth in the “Personnel and Pay Classification Plan” adopted by Ordinance O-21-81; and

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the position of “Parks and Greenspace Laborer I”; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Council of the City of Fort Thomas to establish the rate of pay for Kyle Becker in the position of appoint Kyle Becker to the position of “Parks and Greenspace Laborer I.” and fix his rate of pay as established herein.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY:

SECTION I

That the following employee will be paid at the stated rate in bi-weekly installments after adoption and publication of this ordinance:

SECTION II

All ordinances, resolutions or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.

SECTION III

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date provided by law.
