Fort Thomas Police Alert and Advisory System

The Fort Thomas Police Department has developed a new Alert and Advisory system called E-Lert. This system replaces the old Nixle service.

To participate, all you have to do is send an email address that you want to receive the alerts and advisories to Police@FtThomas.org. We do not sell, distribute or share this email system with anyone. You will not be solicited or receive spam from participation. For further information or questions, contact Lt. Ken Fecher at 859-572-1234.

New Service for Old Drugs

Prescription Drug Disposal Program

The Fort Thomas Police Department is now offering this complimentary service to our citizens and supports law enforcement strategy and environmental issues. You may drop off unwanted or outdated prescription medication in a drop box located in the city building lobby at 130 N. Fort THomas Ave. Drop off can be made during regular business hours. The Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Task Force will pick up and properly dispose of the medications. This program is supported by the N KY Police Chiefs, N KY Drug Strike Force, Kentucky Crime Prevention Coalition, N KY Water District, and N KY Sanitation District. The N KY Water District and the N KY Sanitation District are supporting the program for health and safety reasons.
