P R O C L A M A T I O N

WHEREAS, Judy Smith has taught kindergarten in the Fort Thomas Schools for 23 years; and

WHEREAS, Judy's patience and love for her students shine through in everything she does, and

WHEREAS, Judy has been married to her loving husband, Les for 45 years and is the mother of two grown children Scott and Stephanie and the grandmother of Allison, Andrew, Maddie and Alex; and

WHEREAS, Judy is very dedicated to her church where she has taught Sunday School and headed up the decorating committee for many, many years; and

WHEREAS, Judy is a beautiful person inside and out, she truly cares about other people and is always willing to help out or do whatever needs to be done to make the school, her church or her home a better place.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, MARY H. BROWN, as Mayor of the City of Fort Thomas,

Campbell County, Kentucky, hereby proclaim that this day, June 2nd, 2008 be designated as:

“JUDY SMITH DAY”

within the City of Fort Thomas, and I hereby urge all citizens to honor her

and express best wishes and our admiration and gratitude to her on her day.
