RESOLUTION R-02-2010

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A FINANCING AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY LEAGUE OF CITIES (KLC) TO FINANCE THE MIDWAY REHABILITATION PROJECT, TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS WHICH ARE DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE KLC TO FACILITATE THE FINANCING AGREEMENT, AND TO ACT AS THE AUTHORIZED CORRESPONDENT FOR THE PROJECT.

 

WHEREAS, The City of Fort Thomas has decided to finance the cost of the Midway Rehabilitation Project with the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC); and

 

WHEREAS, it is recognized that the Financing Agreement imposes certain financial obligations and responsibilities on the City;

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THIS 5TH DAY OF APRIL, 2010, BY THE CITY OF FORT THOMAS BOARD OF COUNCIL, CAMPBELL COUNTY KENTUCKY:

 

            That the Mayor is authorized to execute a Financing Agreement with the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) to finance the Midway Rehabilitation Project; to execute any documents necessary to facilitate the financing arrangement; and, to act as the authorized correspondent for the project.

 

That this Resolution shall be signed by the mayor, attested to by the City Clerk, recorded, and shall become effective upon its adoption.
