RESOLUTION NO. R-7-2009

 

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNCIL, CITY OF FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY, AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND TRANSFER OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT AND KNOWN AS PARCEL 9 OF PARK TRACT, BRIARCLIFF SUBDIVISION, ADJACENT TO BURNET RIDGE, FORT THOMAS, CAMPBELL COUNTY, KENTUCKY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE DEED AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS SALE.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNCIL:

 

That Parcel 9 of the Park Tract, Briarcliff Subdivision, adjacent to Burnet Ridge, is hereby declared to be surplus property.

 

Furthermore, it is recognized that the normal bidding procedure for surplus property is not applicable in this instance since the lot (Lot 129) abutting this parcel would be landlocked if the parcel was sold to an individual other than the owners of the abutting lot.

 

That the Mayor of the City of Fort Thomas be and she is hereby authorized and empowered to sell and convey, by Special Warranty Deed, executed, acknowledged and delivered by said Mayor on behalf of the City of Fort Thomas, all the real estate hereinafter described:

That the Mayor of the City of Fort Thomas is hereby authorized and empowered to sign all documents necessary and incidental to said sale of said real estate.
